Jammu and Kashmir should withdraw action - Islamic States Organization, India Objection

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) today issued a statement calling on the Indian government to withdraw its action on Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019.

The report was released on August 5, two years after the Indian government revoked the special status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement issued by the organization's General Secretariat, the UN As mentioned in the Security Council resolutions, the state of Jammu and Kashmir was declared an internationally recognized disputed area.

This has been rejected by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has said that the organization has no right to interfere in the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir, an inseparable part of India.
